About Me

My name is Adam Gann, and I am the middle grades math teacher at West Education Campus in Washington, D.C. I was born in D.C. and grew up in the area, but I moved to Massachusetts to study Social Studies and Psychology at Harvard and then spent a year living in South Korea to teach English and study education policy on a Fulbright Scholarship. After moving back to D.C., I helped to manage the World Bank's education-related projects in Vietnam and even played and taught bridge for a while before finding the right pathway back to the classroom. I started teaching at West in the fall of 2016 and look forward to continuing my career there.
